On 3 September, the Feast of St Gregory the Great, the Oxford Ordinariate Group will be joined for Mass at Holy Rood by members of the Anglorum Chorus, a group of singers of Gregorian Chant from Oxford, Cambridge and elsewhere. Appropriately, for the feast of the saint from whom Gregorian chant takes its name, they will sing the Latin plainsong propers of the day, and the Ordinary of the Mass. This will be an important opportunity for us to experience part of the Catholic Patrimony into which we have entered, and we are delighted that it will take place in the normal course of our worship.
Mass begins at 6pm, preceded by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 530pm. All are most welome, and refreshments follow.
