The next Divine Worship Mass at Holy Rood will be on Saturday 17 September at 5pm. As has become our custom, we suspend Masses for a couple of weeks in summer to allow for holidays &c. Mass times in the rest of Hinksey Catholic parish can be found by checking the parish newsletter, available at http://www.thamesisis.org.uk
Saturday 24 September is our Patronal Feast, the solemnity of Our Lady of Walsingham. Mass will be sung at 5pm at Holy Rood, followed by refreshments.
Mass according to Divine Worship (the Ordinariate Missal) is offered twice a week at Holy Rood. During the University vacation, the choir does not sing, and Mass is offered at the Blessed Sacrament altar. The usual pattern of services is as follows:
Saturdays at 5pm (which fulfills the Sunday obligation), and
Thursdays at 6.30pm (followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Confessions, 7-8pm).
Please check the Hinksey Parish newsletter available here, in case of change of time over the summer holidays.
